Adding file attachments for email templates
Follow these steps to add file attachments to your email templates in Certain.
- Go to Promote > Communication
- Navigate to Email Templates
- Click Add New
- Fill in the required field
- Under Email Template Details, scroll down to Attachment
- Click on Upload New File
- Click Choose File then choose the file you want to upload
- Click Upload image/file and then Save
Certain only supports a single file attachment for emails. If you have multiple attachments to include, you can either upload a compressed zip file or add a link to the file in Certain Platform or an external file repository.
Uploading a Zip file
- Compress the files into a single Zip file
- Select Email Template > Upload > Select the Zip file from the upload directory window
Linking to an external directory
- Select Email Template
- Add instruction text in your email template (e.g., Click the link below to download files.)
- Highlight the text to create as a link
- Click the Link icon
- Add the external link URL
- If the file is uploaded to your event, click Browse Server and double-click your file.
- Click on OK
