Adding percentage based discounts to your Event
Discount Methods
- A Promo Code can be entered by the registrant.
- The discount is then applied to the registrant's registration.
- Additional information on Promo Codes can be found in the Promo Codes Quickguide.
- Alternatively, the discount can be applied by a logic rule in a form.
- The logic rule can be conditional based on attendee type, questions answered, organization, or other fields.
Applying to other Fees
- Decide how the discount will be applied.
- Decide which fees the discount will apply to.
- To apply the discount to a fee, edit the item.
- Set the item to Apply % Discount.
For Sessions
- Navigate to Manage > Speakers And Sessions > Sessions.
- Edit sessions that have fees.
- Scroll down to Session Fees.
- Check the Apply %Discount option.
For Attendee Types (set by default)
- Navigate to Plan > Event Setup > Attendee Types.
- Edit the Attendee Types with fees.
- Scroll down to Registration Fees.
- Set Discount Rules to Apply Discounts.
For Agenda Items (set by default)
- Navigate to Plan > Event Setup > Agenda.
- Edit an Agenda Item with fees.
- Scroll down to Fee Structure.
- Set Discount Rules to Apply % Discount.
