Adding Speakers on Sessions and Instances
Overview
- Speakers created under master sessions are automatically assigned to all existing instances within the session.
- Speakers created under master sessions are automatically assigned to all new instances within the session.
- Speakers can also be assigned to specific instances.
- If you are using the Touchpoint app, you must assign Speakers to Instances.
Assigning a Master Speaker to a Session
- To assign a master speaker to a session, navigate to Manage > Speakers and Sessions > Sessions.
- In the Master Speaker field, select your Speakers.
- Click Save.
- Saving the Master Speaker selection adds the speaker to all instances.
Adding Specific Speakers to a Specific Instance
- Select a Session and Edit.
- Find the Instances section in your layout.
- Select a single instance.
- There will be a Speaker field within the Instance dropdown.
- Select the desired Speaker(s).
- Click Save.
- The same functionality applies when importing Conference Layout Instances.
- Leave the Master Speakers field blank.
- Assign Speakers to specific Session Instances.
