Definitions
Attendee Type is a label assigned to a participant in an event to control access and permissions.
Logic is a feature that lets you create rules to automatically assign Attendee Types based on form data.
Steps to assign Speaker Attendee Type using Logic
- Navigate to Plan > Event Setup > Attendee Types.
- Click Add New to create a new "Speaker" Attendee Type.
- Create a Form from scratch.
- Or copy an existing Form for Speakers from Plan > Forms.
- On the new Form, click Logic on the left side menu.
- Click Add New.
- Enter a Name in the List Rule Details section.
- Use a Name such as "Auto assign attendee type".
- Select the corresponding Section.
- In Conditions, select Always Apply.
- In Actions, select "Assign Attendee Type" and choose "Speaker".
- Click Save.
- Click Setup on the left side menu.
- Scroll down to Page Setup.
- Move the Logic Label to the #3 spot in the Online Form Sequence.
- The Logic should be placed before "Confirm".
- Now the form users will be marked with a Speaker Attendee Type.
