Step 1: Plan the Event Building Project
Before building an event in Certain, it is a good idea to have all the necessary details at hand. We recommend that you write down the details noted below before starting the process inside Certain. It is useful to have the following available (if they exist):
- Paper registration forms you've used in the past
- Printed copies of all electronic registration documents you've used before
- Brochures or other collateral
- Copies of any form letters you use to correspond with attendees
- Your event registration policies
- Details about hotels, including rooming blocks, reservation policies, hotel location and contact details, prices, etc.
- Your expected event agenda, including any pricing and seat limits for any specific items like tours, meals, etc.
- Cancellation and refund policies
Once you have all the details of your event gathered together, proceed to Step 2: Fill in Basic Event Details.
