Step 1: Plan the Event Building Project
Before building an event in Certain, the user should have all the necessary details at hand.
The user should write down the details noted below before starting the process inside the Certain platform.
The following items are useful if they exist.
Details to have available (if they exist)
- Have paper registration forms you've used in the past.
- Have printed copies of all electronic registration documents you've used before.
- Have brochures or other collateral.
- Have copies of any form letters you use to correspond with attendees.
- Have your event registration policies.
- Have details about hotels, including rooming blocks.
- Have reservation policies.
- Have hotel location and contact details.
- Have hotel prices.
- Have your expected event agenda, including any pricing and seat limits for items such as tours and meals.
- Have cancellation and refund policies.
Once you have all the details of your event gathered together, proceed to Step 2: Fill in Basic Event Details.
