Allow Session Registration
Capacity planning is an extension of the Agenda feature.
Under Features & Menu > Agenda, check the box labeled Allow Session Registration.
Certain Platform for session capacity management requires selecting "Platform Managed". Touchpoint-only session capacity management requires selecting "Touchpoint Managed".
Set the Session to be Constrained
Agenda capacity planning for a specific session is configured in the session edit view.
In the edit view of your session, toggle Registration Required and Capacity Constrained checkboxes to turn on capacity planning for that session.
Capacity managed in the Touchpoint dashboard requires setting the session capacity in the "Capacity" entry field. Capacity managed by Certain Platform requires ignoring the "Capacity" entry field.
Monitor Capacity Levels
My Schedule Report monitoring is done through Reports > My Schedule Report.
The My Schedule Report lets you monitor available seats in each of your locations.
Scheduled attendee visibility is available through the Scheduled filter. Selecting the Scheduled value brings up a list of attendees who have added that session to their My Schedule.
In-App User Experience
In-app session states are shown through the Agenda feature.
Session can be Schedule
The in-app Agenda displays the session as Session can be Schedule.
Session Scheduled
The in-app Agenda displays the session as Session Scheduled.
Unavailable Session
The in-app Agenda displays the session as Unavailable Session.
Cannot Reserve Warning
A warning dialog displays the message: “Sorry, this session's capacity is full.”
The warning dialog includes an OK button.
