Conference Catalogs
Access to Catalog List
- Access path: (event) > Manage > Speakers and Sessions > Catalog List.
- When arriving on the landing page, click Go to Catalog List to open the Catalog List in a new browser tab.
Catalog List Overview
- The Catalog List lists all configured Session Catalogs and Speaker Catalogs.
- The Catalog List panel includes the Add a Catalog option.
Add a Catalog
- Enter a Catalog Name.
- Select a Catalog Type: Session or Speaker.
- Click Save.
- The Session Catalog Designer or Speaker Catalog Designer opens in a new browser tab.
- Note: The designer looks and feels different to the rest of Certain Platform.
- It may take some getting used to, but you will likely like it.
- Step through the wizard in the designer to configure your catalog, clicking Save & Next on each page.
- See Session Catalog Designer or Session Catalog Designer for details.
- You return to the Catalog List below, which now includes your new catalog.
Catalog List Actions
- All existing Session Catalogs and Speaker Catalogs are listed.
- The icons at the top of the list include Copy link and Edit name.
- The Actions column includes Copy, Edit, View, and Delete.
- Copy creates a catalog copy that you can edit.
- Click the row to edit the catalog; this opens the Session Catalog Designer or Speaker Catalog Designer in a new browser tab.
- View opens the public-facing catalog in a new browser window.
- Delete removes the catalog.
Syncing Sessions and Speakers
- Sync Sessions updates session data used by the Session Catalog.
- Click Sync Sessions to open a pop-up window and ensure that all sessions with status Published, Scheduled, Qualified, or Cancelled are available for inclusion in the Session Catalog.
- Sync Speakers updates speaker data used by the Speaker Catalog.
- Click Sync Speakers to open a pop-up window and ensure that all Speakers with up-to-date data are available for inclusion in the Speaker Catalog.
- In both cases, allow a minute or two before the changes are reflected in the catalog(s).
- After syncing, continue using the Catalog Designer to fine-tune your selections.
