Content Blocks (At Account Level)

Content Blocks (At Account Level)

Introduction

Content Block is a block of HTML content that can be displayed in multiple places.

The Content Blocks page explains how to set up account-level blocks of HTML content.

Event-level content blocks can be configured under Event Setup > Content Display > Content Blocks.

If content is common to multiple events, such as a display-shell footer, configuring content blocks at the account level avoids duplicating work in each event.

Display Rules are rules that control when a content block is displayed.

Display Rules can be configured in an event under Event Setup > Display Rules.

You can use content blocks in the following places:

A content block can be displayed by selecting it in the same way as you would any dynamic data field from the same drop-down lists.

A content block can be displayed conditionally by setting up Display Rules in an event: Event Setup > Display Rules. Example: A rule could display a content block with text relevant to C-Suite executives only if the profile's Position is "CEO" or "CMO".
