Certain uses the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Country list to determine which countries are available in the Country drop-down menu. This ensures that the information the Certain Platform has matches other systems it integrates with, such as Paypal, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.
If a country is not on the ISO Country list, Certain cannot add the country to the Country drop-down menu because the addition would break Certain Platform integration with other systems. Other systems use the same standard for countries.
The Country field is available as a standard profile attribute. The Country field can be added to forms collecting registrant information.
Add the Country field to registrant forms
1. From an event, select Plan > Forms > Registrant Details 2. Add Country in the Select Fields section 3. Set the text to display and the available values (or all) for the Country attribute
