Custom Display Fields

Overview

Display fields are located under Account Settings > Management > Display Fields.

Administrators have access to this area and can create custom display fields.

Display fields can be used to configure the event's display.

Display fields can be created and then added to the Primary Display or the Extended Display as Dynamic Data fields.

Once created on the account, the display fields will show in the event under Plan > Content Display > Display fields.

Creating and Using Display Fields

An example is adding the logo or a banner image to the event.

The logo or banner is typically a file type of an image.

You can create a display field with the question type "Image" for the logo or banner.

To create a file type Display field, click Add New and select the question type "Image".

Add a name, code, and label (for example: banner) and save.

You can then update the event display by adding the custom display field as a Dynamic Data field.

Go to Plan > Display > Extended > sample script that can be placed in the Shell Header (HTML to include above the main page <table>).

For this setup, you will need to know or have advanced knowledge of HTML.

Navigate back to the event and go to Plan > Content Display > Display fields to see the display fields created on the account.

See examples below.

Any event builder can now upload an image for an updated banner from event to event by uploading an image here.

Note: Each account can have up to 45 Display Fields.
