Overview
The article describes how to specify a custom header and footer for a report.
The header appears on every page of the report.
The footer appears on every page of the report.
Headers and footers apply only to reports in the following formats: Printable HTML, Acrobat PDF, Printable Excel, and Excel Spreadsheet.
Images in headers and footers do not display in the Excel formats.
Customization
Both the header and the footer can be customized using the data field drop-down list. The data field drop-down list includes Report fields, User fields, and Event fields. Click the place where you would like the data field to appear. Then select the Add to Header button to add the selected data field to the HTML Editor area. Or select the Add to Footer button to add the selected data field to the HTML Editor area. Note: For PDF output, any images should be uploaded, not embedded as http links.
