Custom Statuses

This page lists the custom registration statuses defined for the event. This page may be a list.

Click one custom status to see or edit its details. Click Add New to add a new custom status.

Either action opens the section described below.

A registration status tracks the progress of a single registration through the registration process. An event can have any number of custom registration statuses in addition to the 11 standard statuses. This page provides details for each custom registration status .

Standard (Default) Registration Statuses

The 11 standard (default) registration statuses are listed below.

Note: the account setting Show Default Statuses can be cleared on . In that case, none of these default statuses are available for use in events. Only the custom statuses set up in this page would be available for use on forms, for assigning directly to registrations, and other uses.

> Note: "No-show" status is classified "Accepted". Any resulting agenda item fees, for example, are not canceled unless explicitly canceled for a registrant, or the planner executes a cancellation mass action.

Custom Registration Statuses

Custom registration statuses enable a registration process that meets specific needs.

For example, a series of speaker status levels might be:

A speaker can register online. The system can be set in to assign the status of Speaker registrations to "Need photo and abstract".

When the registrant later sends in her photo, the status can be changed to "Need Abstract". After the registrant sends in her Abstract, the status can be changed to "Pre-registered".

A standard report named "All Registrations By Status" can be used on the . This report can be used to instantly track how many speakers have registered and how many still need to provide materials.

Groups of attendees can be selected. Email reminder messages can be sent with 2 more clicks.

Registration Status Details

When adding a new status, or editing an existing one, complete the following fields.

Registration Status Logic Rules

Click the Advanced button on the left side of the button bar at the bottom of the page. This opens a pop-up window. In that window, logic rules can be added or edited for the selected custom status.

In that window, click Add New to add a new rule. Click a rule in the list to edit it.

Save

Click Save to create the new status. Click Save & New to create the status and immediately move on to creating another one.
