Standard (Default) Registration Statuses

The 11 standard (default) registration statuses are listed below.

But note: if the account has the Show Default Statuses option cleared on , then none of these default statuses are available for use in events. Only the custom statuses you set up here would be available for use on forms, for assigning directly to registrations, etc.

| Status | Classification | | --- | --- | | New | Accepted | | Requested Invitation | Pending | | Waitlist Hold | Pending | | Invited | Pending | | Request Denied | Denied | | Invitation Sent | Pending | | Pre-Registered | Accepted | | Declined Invitation | Denied | | Cancelled | Cancelled | | No-show | Accepted* | | Attended | Accepted |

> Note: "No-show" status is classified "Accepted". Any resulting agenda item fees, for example, are not canceled unless explicitly canceled for a registrant, or the planner executes a cancellation mass action

Custom Registration Statuses

Custom registration statuses enable you to develop a registration process that meets your specific needs.

For example, a series of status levels for speakers might be:

When a speaker registers online, you can set the system (in ) to assign the status of Speaker registrations to "Need photo and abstract".

When that registrant later sends in her photo, then you change her status to "Need Abstract".

When once she sends in her Abstract, then you change her status to "Pre-registered".

Doing this, you can use the standard report "All Registrations By Status" on the to instantly track how many speakers have registered and how many still need to provide you with materials.

You can then select these groups of attendees and send them email reminder messages with 2 more clicks.
