Event Dashboard is the planner’s “home page” for an event.
Certain will remember the planner’s choice. When the planner returns to the Dashboard, Certain shows the same page. The planner can click the relevant button to switch to the other page.
Access
1. (Event) > Manage > Registrations 2. or Event List > Event 3. or 'Event Dashboard' in breadcrumb trail
Setup Dashboard and Registration Dashboard
Use these buttons to switch between the two pages:
- the Setup Dashboard
- the Registration Dashboard
When the planner arrives on the page for the first time, Certain shows the Setup Dashboard. The Setup Dashboard includes quick links to major setup areas. See Setup Dashboard for details.
Click the Dashboard button to switch to the Registration Dashboard. The Registration Dashboard includes registration summaries and actions like finding or adding registrations. See Registration Dashboard for details.
Details common to both Setup and Registration Dashboards
Header
The header displays:
- the Event Name
- Dates and Times
- Location
- Mode (e.g., Test or Live)
Favorites in the header
Click the outline star icon in the header to mark the event as a favorite. This action makes the event available from the Favorites global navigation icon.
Click the solid star icon to “unfavorite” an event. This action removes the event from the Favorites list.
Event Details
Go to Event Details where the planner can edit those details and many more.
Buttons
These buttons (at top right) lead to pages for these actions:
- Find – Search for registrations
- Add Registration – Create a new registration record
- Impor t – Import registration data from an external file
- Import Salesforce Members – Import campaign members from associated Salesforce campaigns. Requires a Salesforce Connection to be in place.
- Assign Roles – Assign roles and a user for each one to this event. Available only to a who's classified as the Event Owner ( As set by the event planner in Plan > Event Details ) of the event. (Event Planners and Administrators assign roles from Event Setup > Details, but Reg Support users cannot access that page.)
