Event Display Fields

Introduction

Event Display Fields are custom fields used to control what data appears in events in this account.
Dynamic Data Fields (DDFs) are placeholders for data displayed in events.
These fields are used when configuring an event's display in the Primary Display and Extended Display.
Display Fields added here become Dynamic Data Fields (DDFs) on the Primary Display and Extended Display pages.
For example, you can add a display field for 'Banner Image' for use in the Primary Display of an event template.
When configuring an event based on that template, you would set that field to the image you choose, which you upload on Assets.
Note: Each account can have up to 45 Display Fields.

Add New – Add a new display field.
These Actions are available in the list of display fields:
edit a display field
copy a display field
delete a display field
Both Add New and edit open the standard Questions pop-up window used elsewhere in Certain.
Only a limited set of the usual question types is available for use here.
For example, the available question types include image for banner logos.
For banner text, the available question type is text.
