When creating forms, it is useful to view the form being worked on so that the effect of form settings changes is visible immediately. There are two ways of previewing a form. Use whichever suits the workflow best.
1. Use Split Screen Edit Mode
Select Enable split screen edit mode for the form in Forms > Setup.
Edit the form while viewing both views at the same time. When logged into the Certain admin interface and viewing the attendee registration form, a gear icon appears on the left of each form section header. Click the gear icon to show a split screen view. The split screen view includes:
- one frame with the attendee view of the form, and
- one frame with the admin-side configuration screen for that form section.
2. Toggle between Preview and Edit
Preview the form in a separate browser window to toggle between Certain and the form preview.
There are two ways to preview a form.
- Click Preview in the lower left corner of any page in the Plan > Forms area.
- In the event’s forms list, click Plan > Forms > (Forms List), then click the name of the form.
After making changes to form settings in Certain, toggle back to the form preview. Use the icon on the Windows task bar. Use the ALT-TAB key combination on the keyboard.
After the form preview window appears, refresh the display. Press the F5 key. Select View > Refresh.
