This page is available to Event Builders who have the Import Registration Data user access option selected on their user record.
Overview
This page lets you import registrations, registration agenda items, or registration session instances from an external file directly into the registrations database for an event.
For registrations, this can include updating existing registrations.
Data import types
Registration Agenda: Assign non-fee based agenda items on existing registrations.
Registration Agenda: Update non-fee based agenda items on existing registrations.
Registration Agenda: Cancel non-fee based agenda items on existing registrations.
Registration Agenda is for new registrations; you can also import changes to existing registrations.
Import Session Instances: Assign session instances on existing registrations.
Import Session Instances: Update session instances on existing registrations.
Import Session Instances: Cancel session instances on existing registrations.
Process steps
Prepare the external data file to be imported.
For Registrations, the data file is tab-delimited.
For Registration Agenda, the data file is an Excel or CSV file.
For Session Instances, the data file is an Excel or CSV file.
Upload the file to the server.
Map the columns in the data file to fields in the database.
Start the import.
