Cancellation fees are not assigned if a Registration is incomplete. The reason is that incomplete Registrations would incur fees by passing through the Form, selecting an item, and then changing the selection before completing the Form.
To ensure that cancellation fees are applied, check the Complete property on the Registrant's Profile.
Marking the Registrant Complete before changing the Registration Status to Cancelled ensures the cancellation fee is assigned.
Additionally, review the Attendee Type field on the Registrant's Profile if it is set to Cancelled Attendee Type.
Checking if the Registrant has been marked Complete
This section explains how to verify that the Registrant has been marked Complete.
- Navigate to Manage > Registration > access the Registrant's Profile.
- View the Registration Information section at the top of the page.
- Under Properties, see if the Complete box has been checked or not.
