Cancellation fees are not assigned if a Registration is incomplete. This policy exists because incomplete Registrations would get fees assigned by simply going through the Form, selecting an item, and then changing their selection before completing the Form.
If manual item assignment applies to Registrations and cancellation fees must be applied, check the Complete property on the Registrant's Profile. Marking the Registrant Complete before changing the Registration Status to Cancelled ensures that the cancellation fee is assigned.
Additionally, review the Attendee Type field on the Registrant's Profile. Set the field to the Cancelled Attendee Type if the Registrant should be cancelled.
Checking if the Registrant has been marked Complete
1. Navigate to Manage > Registration > access the Registrant's Profile. 2. View the Registration Information section at the top of the page. 3. Under Properties, see if the Complete box has been checked or not.
