Grid Layout Overview
Here's an example of the grid layout that an attendee would see:
- Plan > Forms (edit a form) > Inline Addl Regs
- Section Header
- A Section Header can be configured on most of the pages.
- It is typically used to display additional instructions or event information related to that section.
- Text Above Header: Displayed above the header bar, at the top of the section.
- Header Text: Displayed in the header bar (in a contrasting color). Default value: "Additional Attendees".
- Text Below Header: Displayed directly below the header.
- Active Registrant Information: The information to collect for each additional attendee. You can configure the behavior of each field as follows:
- Require - Makes the field mandatory for the additional registrant.
- R-only (Read only) - Basic information such as first name and last name fields has the read-only checkboxes disabled as it is important to collect this information for additional guests. For the rest of the field, if this box is checked off, it sets the field to read-only.
- Verify/Confirm - If selected, it enables the field to show on the verify and confirm pages of the form.
- Hidden - Allows data to be passed via integration without displaying the field on the form.
- Text to Display - Label to display on the registration form.
- Display Setting
- Inline Reg label - Text to display for the inline registration section.
- Add Row label - Label for the button used to add a new additional registration.
- Maximum Inline Registrants - Allows users to specify the maximum number of additional registrants a primary registrant can add inline.
- Guest Selection Preview - If the maximum inline registrants is set to 1, you can configure Yes/No options for guest selection and preview how this will be displayed. Users can define the Label 0 and Label 1 for this preview.
- Display row number - Users can choose whether to display the row number for each additional inline registrants.
- No attendee type error message - Users can customize the error message that appears if no attendee type is selected.
- Attendee Type Display Logic - This section allows users to create rules to conditionally display available attendee types for inline additional registrations based on the primary registrants' attendee type. Users can define multiple rules by using "If primary reg attendee type =" and then specify the "then display following attendee types" and "add limit number of inline addl regs" based on that condition; users can also add multiple conditions using "OR" logic.
- Default Reg Status and Cancel Options
- Registration Status - Users can select the registration status that will be applied to all inline additional registrations.
- Cancel Registration Status - Users can select the registration status that will be applied when an inline additional registrant is marked as cancelled.
- Cancel Confirm Text - Allows users to customize the confirmation text displayed when cancelling an additional registration.
- Other Settings
- Do not allow edits to completed registrations - This option prevents edits to completed inline additional registrations.
- Email Settings
- This section will indicate if any email templates are set up for the event. Users will be redirected to the events' Email Template when clicking on "Setup an email template for this event".
- After setting up the Inline Additional Registrations settings, ensure that all configurations and changes are saved.
