Merchandise (Agenda Items)

Merchandise items are physical items, usually takeaways. Examples: t-shirts, books, posters, CDs, etc.

To Add an item: click Add New in the Item List header. The panel opens. (If the list is collapsed, click to expand it and show the Add New button.)

To Edit an item, click in the Item List. The panel opens.

To Delete or Copy an item, click the icon in the Item List.

Item List

A list of the Merchandise items in this event. This may be a multi-page list.

Click to collapse the list. Click to expand a collapsed list.

(If the list is collapsed, click to expand it and show the Add New button.)

(All items are listed unless you apply a filter.)

Click above a column to sort the list by that data:

("Unltd." = unlimited, set by entering zero in field.)

Avail = Inv minus Sold unless Inv is not set, in which case "Unltd." = unlimited.

1. Edit the agenda item in the panel that opens.

2. (on hover) Delete the item.

Note: You cannot delete an item that's in use (assigned to an attendee).

3. Copy the agenda item

Custom Merchandise Types

Every Merchandise item is of one type. (See the topic.) This can be the default type, Item, or a custom type that you add in this section.

1. The existing custom types are listed. 2. Click to collapse the list. 3. Click to expand a collapsed list (and show the Add New button). 4. To add a new Type to the list: 1. Click Add New 2. A pop-up Add New Custom Type window opens 3. Type a Name for the new Type 4. Click Save 5. The pop-up window closes, and your new Type is included in the list. 6. Video:

Note 1: You can only edit the Name.

Note 2: You could, however, use Organize Agenda Categories on to move a custom type from "Merchandise" to a different category, such as .

Caution: That would also change the category of all the Merchandise items of that custom type.

For example, instead of being Merchandise they would become Scheduled.

Note: You cannot delete a type that's in use (assigned to a Merchandise item).

Merchandise Groups & Classifications

To help you manage Merchandise items, each one (as described in ) can be assigned a Group, and/or a Classification. You set those groupings up in this section.

1. Click Add New

2. A pop-up Add Group or Classification window opens

3. Type a Name

4. Select Group or Classification

5. Click Save

6. The pop-up window closes, and your new entry is included in the list.

Note: You can only edit the Name.

You cannot change its designation from Group to Classification, or from Classification to Group.

Note: If you try to delete one that's in use (is assigned to a Merchandise Item), you are prompted for confirmation.
