Overview
The page allows customization of the header and footer that appear on every page of a custom report.
The header and footer formats supported are Printable HTML, Acrobat PDF, Printable Excel, and Excel Spreadsheet.
Images in headers and footers do not display in Excel formats.
HTML Editor and formatting
The header and footer can be edited and formatted using the HTML Editor.
If the HTML Editor area is a plain text box without a toolbar, the Enable CKEditor option has been cleared by the system administrator on Account Settings > Implementation > Security for the account.
Users can still enter HTML code directly and can still append fields.
For PDF output, uploaded images should be used rather than embedded as http links.

Dynamic data fields
The steps to add dynamic data fields to the header or footer are as follows:
1. The drop-down list includes Report fields, User fields, and Event fields.
2. Click the location where the data field should appear.
3. Click Add to Header or Add to Footer.
4. The data field appears in the HTML Editor area, where formatting can be applied if necessary.
Note: If the HTML editor area is a plain text box without a toolbar, the Enable CKEditor checkbox has been cleared on Account Settings > Implementation > Security for the account. Note: For PDF output, any images should be uploaded, not embedded as http links.
