Avery offers an easy-to-use online tool for laying out and exporting badges (and other template formats) for all of their products: http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/Templates-%26-Software/Software/Avery-Design--Print-Online.htm?int_id=avery-detailpromo-adpo7
There is no download required. This Avery site allows for template design/layout with images, barcodes, QR codes and other features (just as the standard Certain feature in the Badges tab does). Once the layout is complete, the user uploads an .xls or .csv file (exported from Certain) containing the applicable data fields to merge. The user then prints or exports to PDF.
> Please note: Certain, Inc. is not affiliated in any way with Avery. This recommendation is intended as a helpful suggestion for users looking to utilize Avery template layouts not currently available within the Certain badge wizard. Certain Support is unable to answer questions about the Avery online tool.
