To add a Questions section to a registration form, click Add New in the List of Questions Sections heading on the Plan > Forms > Questions page for that form.
To edit an existing one, click Edit on its row in the list of Questions Sections on the Plan > Forms > Questions page for that form.
You can create up to 10 questions sections. Each questions section may be configured with section display conditions to determine whether the section is displayed.
Questions Section Header
Text Above Header
Text Above Header is displayed above the header bar at the top of the section.
Header Text
Header Text is displayed in the header bar in a contrasting color.
Text Below Header
Text Below Header is displayed directly below the header.
If you leave all three fields blank, the form shows no header for the section.
Questions Section
Name
Name is required. Name is the name of the section.
> Note: Must be unique in the event.
Once a questions section is named and saved, it is included in the list of questions sections under Available Sections on the Plan > Forms > Setup page. On that page, the form builder chooses which sections to add to the form.
Show these Questions in this Section
Choose Additional Questions is used to select the questions to include.
By default, all questions and headers are listed.
You can limit the list of questions you choose by using searching or by selecting a question category.
Search
Search is optional.
Search restricts the list to questions whose names match the typed text.
Question Categories
Question Categories is optional.
Question Categories restrict the list to questions in the selected category.
The available categories are:
- All Questions and Headers
- Profile Questions
- Registration Questions
- Agenda Questions
- Custom Headers
Questions
Questions selects the questions to include.
The full list of questions to choose from includes:
- Custom Profile Questions
- Custom Registration Questions
- Custom Headers
- Custom Agenda Questions
Custom Profile Questions are profile questions in the account. Custom Profile Questions are set up by an Administrator or on Account Settings > Registration > Profile Data.
Custom Registration Questions are registration questions in the event. Custom Registration Questions are set up on Plan > Event Setup > Questions.
Custom Headers are Question Headers in the event. Custom Headers are set up on Plan > Event Setup > Questions > Headers.
Custom Agenda Questions are agenda questions in the event. Custom Agenda Questions are marked as:
- Caution: Legacy feature.
Custom Agenda Questions also reference: Agenda Items: Advanced (Custom Questions).
You can also create new ones. You can create new ones with the same effect as going to Event Setup > Questions.
You can add these items:
- Add a Header / Section Break. Add a new Question Header.
- Add a Custom Question. Add a new custom Registration Question.
Display Conditions
Select one of these two options.
Always display
If Always display is selected, the section will always be displayed on the form.
No logic affects the display.
Display ONLY if these conditions are met
If Display ONLY if these conditions are met is selected, enter the conditions to determine whether the section will be displayed.
This is like a Logic Rule. Logic Rule configuration is done in a Logic section. This logic is built into the form section itself.
