To search for Profiles, even across accounts and sub-accounts, specify your search criteria and click Submit to see the search results. In the results, click a record to edit that profile.
Search Criteria
- Search for is a data field you select from the drop-down list.
- Examples of data fields include Reg Code, First Name, and Last Name.
- Operator determines how Certain will evaluate the text you type in the right-hand data entry field.
- The default operator is "begins with".
- Search text is the value typed into the rightmost data entry field.
- To broaden the search, use a "%" wildcard to represent any number of characters.
- For example, Last Name = "Bo%y" will return Borry, Bosey, Bothey, etc.
- By default, all fields are searched with a wildcard at the end, so that a search on Organization = "Ford" will return records with "Ford", "Ford Motor Co", "Ford Finance Division", etc.
- Max Records is the maximum number of records to be returned in the search results.
- Records Per Page enables you to split the records returned into multiple pages, to make the results more readable.
- Account allows you to choose which account or sub-account you would like to search for profiles, or leave it at the default of Any account.
- Note: You see only the accounts that your username can access.
- Open record in a new tab allows you to open a record from the results list in a new browser tab, instead of the one in which you started the search.
- Note: Your selection or non-selection is retained as the default for when you next use this Profile Search.
- When the results appear, you may click on any column header to sort by that column in ascending order.
- Use the Next xx » and « Previous links to navigate through results that have been broken into pages by the Records Per Page option.
