Overview
- To search for Profiles, specify your criteria.
- The search can be performed across accounts and sub-accounts.
- Click Submit to see the results.
- In the results, click a record to edit that profile.
Search Criteria
- Search for is a data field selected from the drop-down list.
- Examples of search for include Reg Code, First Name, Last Name.
- Operator is the rule used to determine how the search text is evaluated.
- The default operator is "begins with".
- Search text is the text or numbers typed in the rightmost data entry field.
- Wildcard is the percent sign (%) used as a wildcard to broaden the search.
- By default, all fields are searched with a trailing wildcard.
- For example, Organization = "Ford" returns records containing "Ford".
- The results may also include "Ford Motor Co".
- The results may also include "Ford Finance Division".
- Max Records is the maximum number of records to be returned.
- Records Per Page enables you to split the records returned into multiple pages.
- Account is the account or sub-account to search for profiles, or leave it at the default of Any account.
- Note: You see only the accounts that your username can access.
Opening Records in a New Tab
- Open record in a new tab is a setting.
- If this option is selected, opening a record from the results list will display it in a new browser tab.
- Note: Your selection or non-selection is retained as the default for when you next use this Profile Search.
Sorting and Navigation
- When the results appear, you may click on any column header to sort by that column in ascending order.
- Use the Next xx »» and «« Previous links to navigate through results that have been broken into pages by the Records Per Page option.
