Select Report Subtotals (Profiles)
Subtotals overview
- Subtotals are sums, maximums, minimums, or averages of numeric data for the data fields selected.
- Subtotals can be displayed on printable report formats: Adobe PDF and Printable HTML.
- Subtotals appear underneath each column selected for display.
Group-related options
- The subtotal page can be used to turn on or off two options that provide the total number of records per group.
- This feature is useful for reports that group profiles by organization.
- The option 'Display number of records next to each group' shows the number of profiles from each organization in the report.
- The option 'Display grand total number of records at the bottom of the report' displays the grand total of records at the bottom of the report.
Subtotals for numeric fields
- You can display subtotals for the columns that contain numeric data.
- To show subtotals for a particular data field, select the check box for Sum, Maximum, Minimum, or Average.
- You may select multiple check boxes.
- The subtotals will display in a row beneath each report grouping, or at the bottom of the report if no groupings are designated.
