This article explains how to configure the Send Email action for accepted registrations in the Certain platform.
Navigation note
The navigation path is Plan > Configure > Options > Switch on automatic waitlisting > Send Email.
Email template selection and effects
- Selecting an email template here is optional.
- If the registration status chosen as Update Reg Status in the previous step is a custom status configured with a Logic Rule to email a registrant when that status is reached, selecting an email template here would result in accepted registrants receiving two emails.
- If an email template is not selected here, the article recommends selecting an email template.
- If an email template is not selected here, an accepted registrant might never learn that the registration became successful.
