Suppliers (List)

Introduction

This Suppliers page lists the suppliers in the current account. A supplier is a provider you use for your events. A supplier can be a hotel, convention center, florist, A/V company, etc. Through supplier records, you can track business across events. Each account has its own database of suppliers. Suppliers are stored in the account where they are created; they are not visible to other accounts.

Handy Tips

To find a supplier's record, start typing part of its name in the Find Suppliers box in the upper right corner. The matching records will be listed. The list will be refined as you continue to type. To add a new supplier to the current account’s database, click Add New. To edit an existing supplier, click edit in the Action column or just click the row. See Supplier Detail Information for details of the information held about a supplier.

Note: Suppliers can also be added to an account via two pages at the event level Plan > Accommodation / Hotels and Plan > Event Setup > Details > Location. Suppliers added via those pages, since the addition is to the account, are immediately available for use in other events, not only the one in which they were added.

To show suppliers that have been deleted, click Show Inactive. For deleted suppliers, the Actions column then includes Restore Supplier instead of Delete, and the Show Inactive button becomes "Hide Inactive".

These are the four buttons in the upper right corner:

Note: if the supplier is a hotel, you cannot delete it if that hotel has any accommodation blocks. You would first need to delete those blocks, which would only be possible if they did not have any active reservations.
