Suppliers (List)
Introduction
This Suppliers page lists the suppliers in the current account, as described below.
A supplier is a provider you use for your events. A supplier can be a hotel, convention center, florist, A/V company, etc. Through supplier records, you can track business across events.
Each account has its own database of suppliers. Suppliers are stored in the account where they are created. Suppliers are not visible to other accounts.
Handy Tips
To search for a supplier's record, start typing part of its name in the Find Suppliers box in the upper right corner. The matching records will be listed. The list will be refined as you continue to type.
To add a new supplier to the current account’s database, click Add New.
To edit an existing supplier, click edit in the Action column. You can also click the row.

> Note: Suppliers can also be added to an account via two pages at the event level. > - Plan > Accommodation / Hotels > - Plan > Event Setup > Details > Location > > Suppliers added via those pages are immediately available for use in other events. The availability applies because the addition is to the account. The availability applies not only to the event in which the suppliers were added.
To show suppliers that have been deleted, click Show Inactive. For deleted suppliers, the Actions column then includes Restore Supplier instead of Delete. The Show Inactive button becomes "Hide Inactive".
These are the four buttons in the upper right corner:
- List View – Display the page as a list of suppliers. Not shown if already in list view.
- Room Types – Go the Account Room Types page, where you can add, edit or delete room types.
- Import – Start the wizard to import Suppliers from a tab-delimited text file.
- Add New – Add a new supplier record on the Supplier Detail Information page.

Suppliers
A list of all the suppliers set up for the current account.
To filter the list by supplier type, click one of the four buttons in the upper left corner:
- Venue – List all suppliers of type Venue
- Chain – List all suppliers of type Chain
- Brand – List all suppliers of type Brand
- Other – List all suppliers of type Other
Click on a row to edit a supplier. You can also click the edit icon in the Actions column to edit a supplier.
The details shown for each supplier in the list are:
- Supplier Name
- Type
- Address
- Latitude and Longitude – If these coordinates are entered, Certain Mobile uses them to determine the location of a venue on the Location map in the app (see Engage > Mobile > Content > Location) if the address isn't enough.
- Phone
- Web
- Actions, with these icons:
- edit the supplier record
- delete the supplier record.
> Note: if the supplier is a hotel, you cannot delete it if that hotel has any accommodation blocks. You would first need to delete those blocks. Deleting those blocks would only be possible if they did not have any active reservations.
