Travel Configuration
The Travel Configuration page enables you to set the values described below, when using the Travel Packages sub-module of the Travel module.
The Travel Packages sub-module can be enabled for an event on Plan > Configure > Options.
Some statuses are optional statuses which you can then apply to attendee's flights.
Other configuration values include custom transportation types and airports which attendees can select as their transportation preferences.
See the Travel Packages Guide for an explanation of the Travel Packages sub-module.
Transfer Time
Transfer Time is configured as Maximum Transfer Time (in minutes).
Maximum Transfer Time is used in Appointment Management, if Appointment Management is enabled for the event.
Maximum Transfer Time is used to calculate an attendee's Available From and Available To dates/times, if Available From and Available To dates/times are not already set.
Maximum Transfer Time is used to calculate possible conflicts of appointment times with flight arrival or departure times, on the Conflict Report.
Maximum Transfer Time helps estimate the maximum time from when an attendee's flight lands to when an attendee would arrive at the venue.
Maximum Transfer Time includes time for baggage collection, passport control (if relevant), and transfer to venue (from the furthest airport, if more than one is in use).
Statuses
Statuses are optional sets of user-definable codes.
Statuses can be assigned to attendees' flights on Registrations > Travel.
Statuses can be used in reporting.
Three default settings can be configured for three statuses on reference numbers on each flight, on Travel > Flights.
The defaults are applied as initial values on an attendee's flight booking when a flight is assigned.
To add a status, type the status name in the unlabeled text box, and click (save).
To edit a status, click (edit), change the status name, and click (save).
To delete a status, click (delete).

Transportation Types are enabled on a form by selecting Show Transportation Preferences on form when setting up the form.
Transportation Types can be assigned to Groups when the Registration Groups module is used.
When showing transportation preferences on a form, you can restrict shown transportation types to those associated with the group of which the attendee is a member.
Transportation Types can be restricted only if the attendee is a group member.

Event Airports
Event Airports are airports to be used for the event.

Event Airports are made available by selecting Show Transportation Preferences on form when setting up that form.
Event Airports work like Transportation Types when using the Registration Groups sub-module.
Event Airports can be assigned to Groups.
Event Airports can then restrict the airports an attendee sees on the form to those assigned to the attendee's group.
The airport restriction applies if the attendee is a group member.
To add an airport
1. Find an airport by typing three or more letters in the airport name.
For example, typing "San" or "cis" or "SFO" would find "SFO - San Francisco International Airport". 2. Click the name found.
In the example, that would add "SFO" to the list.
To delete an airport
To delete an airport, click the x before its name.
