Certain 7.1.2 (including 7.1.1) was released in October 2020 and included these enhancements and bug fixes.
Enhancements
Payment Processors
- Shift4Payments can now be configured as a payment processor.
- Shift4Payments can be used within the Accommodations section to generate a payment token to be stored for room guarantee.
Digital Events
- Did an attendee 'Attend Live?' and/or 'Attend On-Demand?' is now displayed on the Attendee Overview.
- The display occurs when the Digital Events module is enabled and attendance is updated via Certain Signal.
Form Session Display Options
- A new option to 'Do not display sessions that occur in the past' has been added for Forms > Sessions > Session Display Options > My Sessions: Verify & Confirm.
- With a 'series' of digital events being managed using sessions, this allows you to suppress the display of any sessions that have already taken place.
Bug Fixes
2.0 API
- The list of query parameters are now displayed in the API documentation found at https://developer.certain.com/api2docs/.
- The From address in emails sent from the platform is no longer being converted to lowercase characters.
- An error is no longer returned when sending an email that includes a display rule that renders a session template.
- Emails with a very long template name and subject line no longer generate an error when triggered by a registration status change.
Event List
- An issue with some Completed Registration totals not matching between the Event List and the Completed Registrations by Attendee Type report for some on the Event Dashboard has been resolved.
Event Views
- Attendees can now schedule appointments to their online diary.
Forms > Sessions
- Validation of minimum and maximum selections within a grouping is now working as expected within session sections on the registration form.
Reporting
- Columns can now be reordered within custom reports.
Roles
- An incorrect validation error when adding users to roles associated with a parent account has been resolved.
Session Catalog
- When the option is disabled, the fields are no longer displayed when a session image is clicked in a catalog which has the card layout option enabled.
- A number of Session Catalog display issues in Internet Explorer 11 have been resolved.
- An issue with the display of sessions grouped by start date and time has been resolved.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
- An issue with users who log in via SSO to the admin interface and receive errors has been resolved.
