Event Waitlist form section

Overview

Event Waitlist form section adds a waitlist option to a form when the event is configured to process waitlisted registrations automatically.

What Happens?

Event Waitlist configuration

Text Above Header

Text Above Header is the text shown above the header bar at the top of the Event Waitlist section.

There is no default value.

Header Text

Header Text is the text shown on the header bar at the top of the Event Waitlist page.

Default: "Event Waitlist"

Page HTML

Page HTML is an unlabeled text box in the middle of the setup page.

Enter explanatory text for the user.

There is no default value.

Example: This event has reached its registration capacity.

Select the check box below to be automatically registered for the event should a space become available.

If you are auto-registered, you’ll receive an email confirming your registration.

To add dynamic data fields to the text:

Select a field in the drop-down list.

Example: 'Event Name'

Click Add to Page HTML

Enable Editor?

Enable Editor is a setting.

If selected, the Page HTML is edited in a WYSIWYG editor, with the usual controls for formatting.

If cleared, you enter plain text, but that can include HTML tags.

Note: If the Enable CKEditor check box on Account Settings > Implementation > Security is cleared for the account, there is no option to enable the editor; only the plain text box is shown.

Label

Label is the label of the check box the registrant must select to join the waitlist.

Default: "Add to Waitlist"

Error Message Error Message is the error message the registrant sees if the page is submitted without selecting the check box. Default: "Please select Add to Waitlist option."
