General FAQ - Integration Link Examples

This article provides example text for creating web integration links and explains how they can be used in confirmations and emails.

Creating Integration Links typically requires thorough knowledge of the parameters and syntax needed to communicate information to the destination website.
The syntax shown below is example text and should only be used to get an idea as to how to use the data fields.
Please note that, once defined, Integration Links can be inserted as dynamic fields into e-mail messages and on the confirmation page, for example.
Because they include information about the individual registrant, Web integration links are only available in places where the registrant is known.
For example, they are not accessible from the Form Entry or Websites pages, since these locations are not related to a particular registrant.

Single Sign-On (SSO) link

Name: "SSO link to Attendee Form"
Label: "Click here to register online now!"
Web Address: www.example.com/vendors/certain.asp?url=https://www.certain.com/profile/form/index.cfm &PKformID=<{Form Id For Url: Registration Form}>
Add to Confirmations, etc. as "<{Web Link: SSO link to Attendee Form}>" in Append drop-down list.

Custom link for Passkey Step Mode

For this type of link, you need to set up custom event data fields to store items such as the passkey event Id and other passkey parameters.
Note: Any values stored in the custom event data fields must match the respective information at Passkey for the integration to work properly.

Label: "Reserve accommodation now!"

'Step Mode' is currently the only passkey integration option supported.

Add to Confirmations as "<{Web Link: Link to Cancellation Form}>" in Append drop-down list.

Link to Mapquest with address

Name: "Link to Mapquest"
Label: "View city map of the Event Venue"
Web Address: www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?country=US&searchtype=address&address=<{Loc. Address}>& city=<{Loc. City}>&state=<{Loc. State}>&zipcode=<{Loc. Postal Code}>
Add to Confirmations as "<{Web Link: Link to Mapquest}>" in Append drop-down list.
