General FAQ - Publishing Forms and Websites
This help topic explains how Certain creates a URL for online forms and websites.
The URL is visible on Plan > Forms > Setup > URL.
The URL is also visible on Promote > Websites > Setup > URL.
How the URL is delivered to attendees
The URL is created automatically when online forms or websites are built in Certain.
The URL is delivered to attendees in one or more of the following ways.
The URL is included in a personalized email invitation sent to potential attendees.
The URL is linked to from an existing webpage or web banner ad.
The URL is posted within an HTML frame page on the event's existing domain.
Creating and sharing the link
To create a link to the form or website you want to publish, copy and paste the URL value on the screens mentioned at the top of this topic into an email, webpage, or banner ad.
When creating email templates, use the Dynamic Data Field "Form URL" to save time.
Be sure to follow the rules for any software you might be using to edit these external elements.
You may use the hyperlink tool in Certain's HTML Editor for creating links in Certain emails and websites.
