When you create online forms or websites in Certain, the system automatically creates a URL which is the link to that form or website.
The URL is visible on Plan > Forms > Setup > URL, or Promote > Websites > Setup > URL.
How to Deliver the URL of the Online Form or Website to Potential Attendees
The URL of the online form or Website is normally delivered to attendees in one or more of the following manners:
- Included in a personalized email invitation sent to potential attendees
- Linked to from an existing webpage or web banner ad
- Posted within an HTML frame page on the event's existing domain
To create a link to the form or website you want to publish, copy the URL value on the screens mentioned at the top of this topic into an email, webpage, or banner ad. Copy and paste the URL value into an email, webpage, or banner ad.
When creating email templates, use the Dynamic Data Field "Form URL" to save time.
Be sure to follow the rules for any software you might be using to edit these external elements. You may use the hyperlink tool in Certain's HTML Editor for creating links in Certain emails and websites.
