Form URL

Remove the portions of the URL as noted below.

http://www.certain.com/system/profile/form/index.cfm?PKformID=0x1068808abcd

Remove everything after 'system/' through the x in the PKformID, and then remove the last 4 characters of the PKformID.
http://www.certain.com/system/ profile/form/index.cfm?PKformID=0x 1068808 abcd
For example, when shortened, the above URL would appear as:
http://www.certain.com/system/1068808

Website URL

Remove the portions of the URL as noted below.

http://www.certain.com/system /profile /web/ index.cfm?PKwebID=0x 273677 760fg

Remove '/profile' and everything after '/index' through the x in the PKwebID, and then remove the last 4 characters of the PKwebID. Do not remove '/web'.
http://www.certain.com/system/ profile/ web/ index.cfm?PKwebID=0x 2736777 60fg
For example, when shortened, the above URL would appear as:
http://www.certain.com/system/web/2736777

Vanity URL

Alternatively, another option is to purchase a vanity URL (i.e., www.myeventname.com) and setup URL forwarding to forward that URL to your Event Website or Form.

A URL can typically be purchased for as little as $10/year and often includes the ability to forward to a URL.

Is it possible to shorten a Report URL? I tried using the above, but it didn't work as expected.

To shorten a Report url: 1. Remove the portions of the URL as noted below.

https://certaindemo.com/user/reports/report.cfm?PKRptID=0x1683417d43a&Pk_ptytID=0x365576178 (https://certaindemo.com/user/reports/report.cfm?PKRptID=0x1683417d43a&PKevtID=0x365576178)

(Remove everything after reports (remove the s at the end of reports) through the x in the last string of the report ID and then remove the last 4 characters of the report ID)

1. This will allow your URL to appear as

https://certaindemo.com/user/report/36557 (https://certaindemo.com/user/report/36557)
