Image Specifications

App Icon Image (Required)

App Icon Image is required and must be 2048 x 2048 pixels, in .png format without transparency. Do not round the corners of the image. Apple does this automatically on iOS. The icon needs to be designed simply so that it displays well in several sizes down to 29 x 29 pixels. This icon will also be placed on a solid color and used to generate launch images. Touchpoint recommends that the icon has a solid background color.

How the App Icon Image is used

Launch Image (Optional)

Launch Image is optional and must be 2048 x 2048 pixels, in .png format, plus hex code for background color. Touchpoint address launch images by requiring a square image and a background color. Touchpoint’s square image will “float” in the middle of the launch screen to dynamically handle all the different screen sizes. If a separate launch image is not uploaded, Touchpoint will create the image from the app icon image. Touchpoint requests a background color in hexadecimal code (e.g., #539dc2).

Landing Page Top Banner (Required)

Landing Page Top Banner is required and must be 1242 pixels wide x 460 pixels tall, in .png format. The image must be landscape oriented. This image appears at the top of your list of events (see example below).

Event Images

Event List Icons

Event List Icons are sized 250 x 250 pixels in .png format. Event List icons appear next to the name of your event when you first open the app.

To edit your event icon navigate to the event landing page in the CMS and select the edit button in the top right corner. Then upload your 250x250px png image in the top right "Event Icon" panel.

Home Screen Image Panels

Home Screen Image Panels are created using the home screen design tool. After clicking the images button you are given a resizable panel. The resizable panel can be adjusted by clicking and dragging from the edge of the panel. After the panel is sized to your liking, filling up as much or as little of the screen as you'd like, click the gear icon to see this panel's settings and upload an image. Under panel settings you will see a suggested size for this panel's image(s) based on the size you made the panel in the design tool.

Multiple image panels may be used in your design. Each panel may contain multiple images. One large image panel may feature a single image for branding at the top of your design. Another smaller image panel may be used to rotate between multiple event sponsors.

Example: Half Page Image

Example: Half Page Image is 750px W by 600px H. The panel takes up approximately half the height of the screen on most devices. When you click the gear icon and view the panel settings you see the suggested image size is (WxH): 750px by 600px.

Example: Full Page Image

Example: Full Page Image is 750px W by 1200px H. The panel takes up approximately the full screen height on most devices. When you click the gear icon and view the panel settings you see the suggested image size is (WxH): 750px by 1200px.
