Kiosk Configuration

Here you select the custom registration and profile questions for attendees to answer in the Certain Kiosk app when you run it in survey mode. Survey mode is only available in Certain Kiosk. You can also customize the messages that attendees see in the Certain Kiosk app.

Survey Question Configuration

Enabled is a toggle. Set to On to enable survey mode for Certain Kiosk and show the Questions panel described below.

Show these Questions in Kiosk Survey Mode

The list includes up to ten custom profile questions and registration questions to be shown in the survey.

Edit labels and order

To edit the label shown in the app for a question, type a new value in the text box for that field.

To change the sequence in which the questions are displayed in the app, drag them up or down in the list.

To make an answer Required, click the Off button to toggle it to On. Click On to change it back to Off.

Add questions to the list

To add questions to the list (up to a maximum of 10 in total):

1) Click Select Questions to Add or Remove.

2) Optionally search for a question by typing any part of its name in the Search field.

3) Optionally select one of the Question Categories (All, Registration Questions, or Profile Questions). Only the questions in that category are shown. If you've entered a term, that term now applies to only the questions in the selected category.

4) Note: Questions selected here are independent of those selected on the Question and Profile configuration pages. It is possible to ask the same question both at check-in and in survey mode if there is a reason to do so.

5) Select the check boxes of the questions to add to the list of those to be shown in the survey.

For each selection:

6) Important: Click Use Selections.

7) The list of questions to be shown now includes those additions.

8) Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Remove questions from the list

To remove questions from the list:

In the list of questions displayed, any already chosen have their check boxes selected.

Clear the check boxes for any you want to remove from the list of those to be shown in the survey.

Click Use Selections.

The list of questions to be shown no longer includes those questions.

Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Custom Kiosk Messages

Here you can customize the text of messages shown to attendees using Certain Kiosk, instead of using the default text shown. The process is like adding and changing the labels of questions in the previous section.

1) Click Select Messages to Add or Remove.

2) Select the check boxes of the messages to customize. Important: Click Use Selections.

3) For each selection, enter your chosen text for that message.

4) Click Save at the bottom of the page.

To use the default text instead of a customized message, delete the message from the list.
