Pending Roommates

Pending Roommates is an article located in the Event > Plan > Accommodation > Pending section.

Purpose

Pending Roommates shows roommate pairs that are awaiting approval by the planner.

How roommate pairs are created

A roommate pair is created when a registrant enters another registrant's reg code on the form.

A roommate pair is created when a registrant selects another registrant from the drop-down list on the form.

Registrants on this page

Registrants appearing on the Pending Roommates page do not appear on the No Match or Matched pages.

Matching data entry options

Registrants can enter their roommate's reg code to be matched.

Registrants can select a roommate from a drop-down list.

Columns shown in the table

The table includes the following columns:

First Name
Last Name
Hotel
Room Type
Arrival
Departure
Special Requests

Additional matching columns

Any data fields that have been selected as matching preferences on the Accommodation > Roommates page are also included as columns.

Top actions

Approve All — Click to approve all pending roommate pairs and move them to the Matched page.
Decline All — Click to delete the requested roommate data from all room reservations in the event.
Note — This includes not just those on the Pending page, but also those on the Matched and No Match pages.

Sorting and interaction

All column names have Ascending and Descending sort options, which will sort the data by that column. The Rolodex works on the currently selected column.
