Listings and views

All of the templates in your account are listed.

You can click one of the icons (at top right) to change the format of the list.

Editing Templates

Certain templates offer a range of graphic options. This enables planners to get started on building new events quickly and easily.

If you have permission to do so, you can mark any of your own events as templates by selecting the Mark ... as a template ... checkbox in Plan > Configure > Options, and optionally uploading an image to represent it on this Templates page.

Note: An Event Builder may only mark events as templates or edit template events if the option to Allow event template access is selected under User Access on their user record.

Best Practice: Avoid marking an event as a template unless the event is used only as a template. Events marked as templates are not listed on the Event List page.

Grid View

Each template in the grid has these three buttons:

Warning: Making changes to a template is the same as making changes to an event. If, contrary to best practice, you are using a template as a real event, then any changes are reflected online immediately.

Tabular View

Each template in the table is listed with its Template Name, Code, and Notes (from Plan > Event Setup > Details). The list of tasks may be a multi-page list. The Actions column has these icons for each template:

Warning: Making changes to a template is the same as making changes to an event. If, contrary to best practice, you are using a template as a real event, then any changes are reflected online immediately.
