What exactly are 'Nonqualified Products' and how do they impact the support I receive from Certain?
Nonqualified Products are any programming or infrastructure provided or used by the customer (or their users) that is not part of Certain’s SaaS application, including issues caused by the Internet or defective content. Certain has no support obligations for errors caused by Nonqualified Products; if Certain helps, it may charge time-and-materials, may remove those products (the customer must then remove them at their expense), and the customer remains responsible for compatibility.
Supporting details:
- Examples: customer-supplied code, third‑party components, custom HTML, API configurations, or network/Internet failures.
- Consequences: no SLA obligation for related errors; extra service work can be billed at Certain’s then-current rates; Certain may notify and remove Nonqualified Products if needed.
- Customer responsibility: maintain Nonqualified Products in good working order and ensure compatibility with Certain’s SaaS Application.
