This data indicates whether a participant attended live and on-demand. This data indicates the length of participant attendance. This data indicates the number of questions a participant asked. This data indicates whether a participant participated in a poll.
- Boost engagement - live & on-demand: transform Certain’s Session Catalog into a powerful Digital Hub with enhanced time zone support. This transformation includes private/public sessions. This transformation includes enhanced filtering. Use it in conjunction with the refreshed Touchpoint web Attendee Engagement app. Use this app to fully engage attendees without app download.
Certain Digital/Signal
A major new capability of this release exposes attendee engagement data captured by both Zoom and ON24 in Certain. This capability makes the attendee engagement data available to a marketing technology stack.
The attendee engagement data is captured by Zoom and ON24. The attendee engagement data answers questions about how engaged attendees were. The attendee engagement data answers questions about what percentage attended Live vs. On-Demand. The attendee engagement data answers questions about whether attendees asked any questions or downloaded any resources. The attendee engagement data answers questions about how long attendees watched.

Once engagement data for a digital event has been pulled into the Certain Platform, the engagement data can be evaluated and actioned from a Certain custom report. The engagement data can also be sent to one or more external systems in the Martech stack via outbound flow in Signal. When configuring the outbound flow, select the option appropriate to the event. This selection triggers the flow as engagement data is populated.

Create Zoom & ON24 Webinars
Never leave the Certain Platform to create a Zoom or ON24 webinar or meeting. Certain offers the ability to create webinars and meetings directly from Certain. Select the presentation type (live audio and video or On-Demand) and select the host(s). This ability is in addition to linking an existing webinar/meeting. Linking existing webinar/meeting was released in Certain 7.0.
Touchpoint Web App
The Touchpoint app has always been about creating engaging experiences for users.
With the latest release, the web application UI is rebuilt from the ground up. The rebuilt UI includes desktop layouts. The rebuilt UI includes tablet layouts. The rebuilt UI includes phone layouts.
The HTML 5 app provides a sleek and modern interface. The HTML 5 app engages attendees across webinars, meetings, events, and conferences.
Speaker & Session Management
The following is a list of Speaker & Session Management related enhancements. These enhancements were introduced in 7.0.x patch releases over the last few months.
- Speaker and Session Catalogs are copied as part of the event copy/template copy creation process when the option to copy 'Speakers and Sessions' is selected.
- Sessions can be marked as 'Private' as part of the session configuration. Sessions marked as private are not displayed within the session catalog unless the attendee has been pre-registered for the session for in advance.
- Speakers assigned to a session can be reordered.
- Several improvements have been made to the session instance import. These improvements speed up the process when a large number of instances are imported.
Turning Session Catalog into a Powerful Digital Hub
The following configuration option improvements have been introduced:
- Fav and cart icons can now be hidden.
- Join URLs are displayed as a button using the primary button color.
- Date and time filters are displayed as drop-down lists.
- Time zone and 'My Sessions' filters are displayed as part of the admin-side preview.
- The 'My Sessions' calendar drawer can now be hidden.
- The header of the 'My Sessions' calendar drawer can now be edited.
- Clicked links within session descriptions no longer collapse/expand the body.
- Session times are displayed in a user's time zone. The time zone is based on the user's browser locale. Session times are displayed when the user is auto-logged in to the Digital Hub when mytimezone=true is included in the URL. Session times are displayed when the option to 'show in my time zone' is enabled for the hub.
- An option to 'Download Calendar' is added to the 'My Schedule' view. This option allows registrants to download .ics files for each registered session. These files can be added to digital calendars.
Speaker Catalog
- The maximum number of featured speakers that can be featured on the Speaker Catalog has been increased from 10 to 20.
Forms > Sessions
The 'My Sessions' pop-drawer configuration now includes an option to show/hide the following fields:
- Date
- Time
- Session Name
- Location
The following labels can also be modified:
- Registered
- Waitlisted
- Remove
Registered and Waitlisted sessions can now be removed/cancelled right from the drawer by clicking the Remove button.
2.0 API
A new TRACKS business object is available. This object allows a GET to return a list of tracks within an event. This object also allows a GET to return the details of an individual track including the following fields:
- ID
- Code
- Name
- Description
- Color code
- Sub tracks
Reporting
If an organization leverages Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities, the organization can enforce SSO for users attempting to access tokenized report URLs. To enforce SSO, update the SSO Manager to include 'Reports' as an SSO entry point. Then update the report configuration to require SSO login. Any users attempting to access the report are prompted to log in via the selected identify provider before the users can view the report.
Security
All files and images uploaded by registrants are now scanned by anti-virus software. If the scan failed, the system returns an error to the user indicating the file was not uploaded because it was found to be infected if the scan failed.
