Overview
Key Metrics is a dashboard. Key Metrics provides a 30,000-foot representation of the performance of a single event or group of events. The 30,000-foot representation helps executives make business decisions around missing, meeting, or exceeding objectives. Executives use Key Metrics to decide whether to continue, increase, or decrease these types of events. Executives use Key Metrics to decide who to target in the future.

- How was the event registration vs. the goal?
- How successful was the event (from a pipeline perspective)?
- What’s the ROI?
- What organizations and titles did we attract?
Elements on the Key Metrics dashboard
Selected Events/Registration Goal indicator
Location: The indicator is at the top part of the dashboard.
Purpose: The indicator provides a visual indication of whether the registration goal for the event was met. If no goal is set for the event, the box is grey. The indicator also shows the total registrations against the goal and whether the goal was Achieved or not.
Registrations, Attendance & Engagement metrics
Location: The metrics are on the left side of the dashboard.
Content: The metrics provide the total number of registrants, the total number of attendees, the percentage of attendance, the total number of engaged participants, and the percentage of engaged participants.
Bubble chart graph
Location: The bubble chart graph is in the center of the dashboard.
Purpose: The graph provides the top 10 values in number of registrations among three dimensions of analysis. Interaction: The chart is interactive and allows dynamic recalculation of the Registrations, Attendance and Engagement metrics on the left upon selection of values in the same dimension. Hover: Hovering over a value provides a tooltip with metrics information about that value.
Event financial information
Location: The event financial information is on the right side of the dashboard using the drawer icon.
Purpose: This section provides financial details about the event such as total cost, cost per registrant, total influenced pipeline, influenced pipeline per registrant and the event ROI. Recalculation: These metrics will be recalculated when the user selects value(s) in the bubble chart.
Key Metrics with multiple events
Description: When used with multiple events, the Key Metrics dashboard contains more than one event in the Select Events heat map. Details: It can be used to get more details by hovering over each event, or to filter the bubble chart and the financial information by selecting one or multiple events in the heat map.
