Questions (Registration Form)

Collecting Responses to Questions on a Form

The Questions section(s) of a registration form are used to collect answers to custom questions configured for the event.

Prerequisites

Before you can use Questions on the form, set them up on these pages:

FYI: Travel Information (from Event Setup > Travel) is not included on Questions Sections. Travel questions are used on Travel Sections.

Once you have added a question section, it is available for you to add to a form on Forms > Setup. Video: Adding a Questions Section to a Form (40 sec.)

Questions Sections

You can create up to 10 Questions sections.

Click Add New to create and configure a Questions Section in the Questions Section Details panel that opens.

This includes giving the section a name, which is what you see on the Form Setup page when selecting the sections to include on the form.

(Note: Once you've added all 10 Questions sections, the 'Add New' button is no longer available.)

> Caution: You should not delete a section that's included in the Online Sequence on the form's Setup page of the form.

Backwards Compatibility Note:

In Certain 5.10, to ensure backward compatibility with forms created in 5.9, this Verify & Confirmation list is pre-populated with:

1. The questions set for a 5.9 form in Forms > Questions > Fields to Display, excluding any question headers.

2. All custom profile and custom registration questions if none are set to display under 'Fields to Display', which was the pre-5.10 behavior.

This excludes any question headers.

3. Questions that were only displayed using active logic rules in the online form sequence in 5.9.13, and not using the Questions section.

You can also create new ones

(This is like adding a header by going to Event Setup > Questions > 'Question Headers'.)

Click Use These Questions to add your selections to the form. Once you have a list, you can click to delete one, or to move one higher.
