Questions (Registration Form)
The Questions section(s) of a registration form are used to collect answers to custom questions configured for the event. This article is intended for administrators and event planners using the Certain platform.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites must be in place before using Questions on the form.
- Profile Data is configured by an Administrator on Account Settings > Registration > Profile Data.
- Registration Information is configured on Plan > Event Setup > Questions.
- Custom Question Headers are configured on Plan > Event Setup > Questions > Headers.
- Agenda Item Information is available under Agenda Items: Advanced (Custom Questions).
- Travel Information is not included on Questions Sections; Travel questions are used on Travel Sections.
- After you have added a Question Section, it becomes available to add to a form on Forms > Setup.

Questions Sections
Question Sections can be created and configured for a form.
- You can create up to 10 Questions sections.
- To create and configure a Questions Section, click Add New in the Questions Section Details panel.
- The Questions Section Details panel opens to allow naming the section.
- The section name is what you see on the Form Setup page when selecting the sections to include on the form.
- If you have added all 10 Questions sections, the Add New button is no longer available.
- Actions include Edit, Copy, and Delete for sections.
- You should not delete a section that's included in the Online Sequence on the form's Setup page.
Verify & Confirmation
Verify & Confirmation shows these questions on the Verify and Confirmation pages.
- Choose Additional Questions — Click to select the questions to include on the Verify and Confirmation pages.
- Backwards Compatibility Note: In Certain 5.10, this Verify & Confirmation list is pre-populated with:
1. The questions set for a 5.9 form in Forms > Questions > Fields to Display, excluding any question headers.
2. All custom profile and custom registration questions if none are set to display under "Fields to Display," which was the pre-5.10 behavior. Again, this excludes any question headers.
3. Questions that were only displayed using active logic rules in the online form sequence in 5.9.13, and not using the Questions section.

- The list of questions (and headers) you choose from includes:
- Custom Profile Questions — Profile questions in the account, set up by an Administrator on Account Settings > Registration > Profile Data.
- Custom Registration Questions — Registration questions in the event, set up on Plan > Event Setup > Questions.
- Custom Headers — Question Headers in the event, set up on Plan > Event Setup > Questions > 'Headers'.
- Custom Agenda Questions — (Caution: Legacy feature). See Agenda Items: Advanced (Custom Questions).
Creating and Using New Questions
You can also create new questions and headers.
- Add a Header / Section Break — Add a new Question Header.
- This is like adding a header by going to Event Setup > Questions > 'Question Headers'.
- Add a Custom Question — Add a new Question.
- Click Use These Questions to add your selections to the form.
- Once you have a list, you can delete one, or move one higher.
