Speaker Portal Page Logic
Speaker Portal Page Logic is the most effective way to guide registration workflows for speakers. The Speaker Portal Page Logic feature allows the planner to drive responses from potential speakers in any manner they see fit.
Display Logic is the feature that allows conditional visibility of page elements in the Speaker Portal design.
The Speaker Portal pages that can include logic are the Register Speaker page, the My Information page, and the My Sessions page.
Adding Logic to Speaker Portal Page Design
To add logic to the Speaker Portal pages, follow these steps:
1) Navigate to Manage > Speakers and Sessions > Speaker Portal > Pages. 2) Click the edit pencil next to Pages, and select the section (Speaker or Session Details). 3) Move your cursor to the desired area for the display logic. 4) Click Add > Add a Conditional Section. 5) Build the Logic statement with the desired conditions (for example If Speaker Email contains @Certain.com). TIP: Use a naming convention for the Conditional Section that will make sense to other planners/designers. 6) Click Add to include the field you wish to display based on the given condition.
Note: You can add an existing field to display. Note: You can create a custom field to display.
