Can you explain the OAuth authentication process to me?

Last verified against certain.com:

Explain the OAuth authentication flow OAuth2 consists of four main steps: your application redirects the user to the provider’s authorization URL; the user logs in and approves the access; the provider sends an authorization code back to the redirect URL; your application exchanges that code for an access token (and a refresh token) using the Client ID and Client Secret. The token is then used to call the required APIs.

In the Certain settings, to connect to services such as Zoom or Salesforce, you must store the Client ID and Client Secret, set the redirect URL to https://identity.certain.com/OauthCallback, and specify the allowed domain (whitelist). Then select the required scopes. Digital Events: Using Certain Connector Signal with Zoom | Signal Connector Integration with Advanced Webhooks Guide
