To add a Custom HTML section to a registration form, click Add New in the List of Custom Sections heading on the Plan > Forms > Custom HTML page for that form.
To edit an existing one, click Edit on its row in the List of Custom Sections on the Plan > Forms > Custom HTML page for that form.
You may configure up to 20 Custom HTML sections.
Each Custom HTML section may be configured with section display conditions to determine whether the section is displayed.
Details to Complete
Custom HTML Header
Text Above Header is displayed above the header bar, at the top of the section.
Header Text is displayed in the header bar (in a contrasting color), above the actual content of the Custom HTML section.
If you leave both fields blank, the form shows no header for the section.
Custom HTML Section
Section Name is the name of the section.
Note: Must be unique in the event.
Once a Custom HTML section is named and saved here, it is included in the list of Custom HTML sections under Available Sections on the Plan > Forms > Setup page, where you choose which sections to add to the form.
Append Data Fields is used to insert dynamic data fields (DDFs) into the Page HTML.
To insert a field, select a field from the list and click Add to Page HTML.
Page HTML is an unlabeled text area where you edit the HTML that will appear on the page in the form.
Page HTML uses the HTML Editor used in other areas of Certain.
You can clear the Enable Editor? checkbox to toggle the editor off.
When the editor is off, you can edit plain text and enter HTML tags by hand, or paste HTML from an external editor.
Start a New Section? starts a new HTML table with a new section header and form fields table.
If Start a New Section? is cleared, the HTML stays within the same HTML table (and column alignment) as the rest of the page.
Display Conditions contains two options:
Always display means the section will always be displayed on the form. No logic affects its display.
Display ONLY if these conditions are met means you enter the conditions to determine whether the section will be displayed. This is like a Logic Rule you would configure in a Logic section, but it is built into the form section itself.
