Custom HTML Section Details (Registration Form)

Custom HTML Section Details (Registration Form)

How You Got Here

To add a Custom HTML section to a registration form, click Add New in the List of Custom Sections heading on the Plan > Forms > Custom HTML page for that form.

To edit an existing Custom HTML section, click Edit on its row in the List of Custom Sections on the Plan > Forms > Custom HTML page for that form.

You may configure up to 20 Custom HTML sections.

Each Custom HTML section may be configured with section display conditions to determine whether the section is displayed.

Details to Complete

Custom HTML Header

Text Above Header displays above the header bar, at the top of the section. Header Text displays in the header bar (in a contrasting color), above the actual content of the Custom HTML section.

If both fields are left blank, the form shows no header for the section.

Custom HTML Section

Section Name is required. Section Name must be unique in the event.

Once a Custom HTML section is named and saved here, the section is included in the list of Custom HTML sections under Available Sections on the Plan > Forms > Setup page, where you choose which sections to add to the form.

Append Data Fields inserts dynamic data fields (DDFs) into the Page HTML.

To insert dynamic data fields (DDFs) into the Page HTML, select a field from this list and click Add to Page HTML.

Page HTML is the unlabeled text area where you edit the HTML that will appear on the page in the form.

Page HTML uses the HTML Editor used in other areas of Certain.

You can clear the Enable Editor? check box to toggle the editor off.

You can edit plain text where you can enter HTML tags by hand.

You can paste HTML from an external editor.

Start a New Section? starts a new HTML table with a new section header and form fields table.

If Start a New Section? is cleared, HTML stays within the same HTML table (and column alignment) as the rest of the page.

Display Conditions

Select one of these two options.

Always display means the section always displays on the form.

No logic affects the display of the section.

Display ONLY if these conditions are met means the section displays only when the conditions are met.

The section display conditions are like a Logic Rule configured in a Logic section.

Section display conditions are built into the form section itself.
