Custom fields allow you to add additional information to Attendees and Exhibitor Leads.

Attendee Custom Fields

Attendee custom fields are editable under Design: Features and Layout > Features & Menu.

Read/Write Settings

Displayed within the App

Custom Field Values displayed under My Account.

To display a custom field under the My Account section, the field must be set to Can Read: Attendee or Can Read: Everyone.

Can Write must be set to Attendee.

To display a custom field under the Attendees list feature of the app, the field must be set to Can Read: Everyone.

Custom Field Values as Dynamic Data Fields (DDF)

To use the value of a Custom Field dynamically within the content of a Page feature, the field must be set to Can Read: Attendee.

It will then show as an option in the DDF dropdown within the WYSIWYG editor.

Exhibitors and Lead Form Customization

Exhibitors can customize their lead form to suit their organization's needs.

Selecting "Manage Custom Fields" from the exhibitor's page within the VIP portal will present the custom field dialog.

Exhibitor Custom Fields Precedence over Defaults

Custom Fields set on an Exhibitor will take precedence over any defaults set across all Exhibitors.

If a custom field such as "Lead Type" is set for all exhibitors, an individual exhibitor may keep that field and also add another field such as "Rating".

In that case, the exhibitor would need to create the "Lead Type" field again within their own Exhibitor's fields as well as creating the "Rating" field.
