Branding & Sponsorship images
- Branding & Sponsorship images are edited from the Pulse/Live Polls page in the CMS.
- To view and edit the Live Poll branding & sponsorship images, select the "Design" tab at the top.
- By default a poll displays the app icon when there are no active questions.
- You can set an explicit full page poll splash screen to replace that image if you choose.
- There is also an option to add a branded header image.
- The header image is displayed at the top of every poll question.
- For each image you can choose a background color that will be displayed behind the image.
- It is best to use images which are much wider than they are tall.
- The example below is 750px wide by 100px in height.
- Keep in mind that the taller the image is the more it will push your poll down on the screen.
- The full page splash image is displayed in the center of the screen when there are no active questions.
- Square images work best for the full page splash image.
- The example below is 820px wide by 820px tall.

Automatic Playback
- For a hands-off approach you can use the Auto-Manage controls at the bottom of your screen.
- Click Settings in the bottom footer to adjust the Auto Manage playback:
- Active Duration: How long the question is open for responses.
- Lock Duration: How long the question is locked for attendees but not yet displaying results.
- Results Duration: How long the results of the question are visible before the next question is active.
- Once the play button is pressed from the Auto Manage footer the Poll will become active and begin playback from the selected question.
- The poll will go through every question in order, making each question active, locked, and displaying results.
- At any point the poll may be paused, remaining in the current state of the active question.
- The poll and all questions may be ended by hitting the stop button.

Decide on Your Audience Display
- Attendees will see questions and results in the app on their devices.
- To also display your poll questions and results on a large screen, you will open the Participant View of the poll in a web browser and project it onto a large screen.
- You have a few options for how to moderate and display the poll:
- You may use two computers, one with the Participant View projected to the screen (likely the one you’re already using for your presentation) and another to access the poll moderator console to manage the poll.
- Or you may use a computer for the screen projection of the Participant View and a mobile device (tablet or phone) for the poll moderator console to manage the poll.
- Or you may use one computer employing “split screen projection” so that part of your screen is shared to the large display with the Participant View and part is used as a non-displaying view of the poll moderator console. Ask your audio visual specialist for assistance.
- You may also choose to embed the live poll questions and results in a Powerpoint presentation. Click here to learn how. You will still need to separately manage the poll via the poll moderator console.
- If you choose not to display your poll questions and results on a large screen: You may use one device—computer, tablet or phone to manage the poll via the poll moderator console. Your questions and results will still display on your attendees’ devices.
